Classy Cupcakes Finds a New Home by Miracle Mile

OMG I am so excited that I can't stand it... I am about to sign the lease on a space for Classy Cupcakes!!! Wow, it is soooo much work that is ahead for me and this business it makes my head spin to think about it! But, if I wasn't doing this what would I be doing? I am having such a great time planning and visualizing... I will definately be blogging all about it. This is a picture of the store front now. It is located at 712 21st St. in Vero Beach in Frasier Park Plaza. It is in between PennyHill Subs and Bella Hair Design. The space is about 630 square feet. No time to write anymore right now...sorry.

Tammy was my best friend from age 5 till I moved at age 15. We were neighbors in Illinois... Today is her birthday and I hope she had a great day! We talk on the phone every few months or so... and I didn't get a chance to call today... so... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAMMY!!!

Fiasco Brother's 11th Annual Poker Run...

Biker's love cupcakes!!! That's what I found out this past Sunday anyway... I set up a cupcake booth at the event that was a benefit for the Homeless Family Center in Vero Beach. There were soooo many bikers there it was amazing! I had a great time hanging out with the staff from HFS... Marie was so funny. By the end of the day, she was wearing a skull cap and really getting into it! I had waited until 7pm the night before to decide to come to the event... I made 7 dozen cupcakes... 3 dozen Banana Pecan - some with more buttercream, some with a little buttercream, and some with creamcheese, toasted coconut and a candied pineapple chunk... 2 dozen Peanut Butter Fantasy... and 2 dozen Cinnamon Crumb! I sold over 50 cupcakes! Which was great because I had donated a dozen cupcakes gift certificate to the raffle and the prize winner took her cupcakes on the spot!!!

Lucky St. Patrick's Day Cupcakes...

These cupcakes were soooo good. Chocolate with Bailey's Irish Cream Frosting and a little shamrock! It was an order from Laura at Bella Hair Design. Her shop is located right next to the space I am looking at for Classy Cupcakes! I love her shop... it is very clean and beautifully decorated too! Thanks Laura for ordering these yummy cupcakes... maybe I'll be your new neighbor!

Key Lime Cupcakes...

Thank you to all of my cupcake tasters who helped to develop my Key Lime Cupcakes this month! They were a great success at Jack's 70th Birthday Party!

Indian River Mall didn't work out for Classy Cupcakes...

Am I sad??? In a very small way... relieved is more the feeling that I am getting. It would be a huge step, when I am a small step kind of person! The cookie store guys, Mike and Kenny let me know today that they accepted another offer over mine. It's not final yet, so they are going to let me know if it doesn't go through... but I don't know if I am interested anymore at this point. I have had a lot of time to think about the whole thing... I wrote a business plan... it wasn't time wasted at all! I definately learned a lot about opening a business. Especially the very important part called having a plan! I realize that I can have a successful cupcake shop, if I plan on it... which is what I am back to doing now! I am back to looking for a kitchen and will be ordering my flavor cards and more business cards too (I'm running out fast)! I am following my heart and I know that when it's right it will all work out!

Classy Cupcakes in the Indian River Mall...

Okay, I've been keeping this in long enough... I am looking into buying the cookie business in the mall! Last month I started looking for a kitchen for my business when I found out that the cookie location was for sale... so I have put in an offer on the business! This is a picture of what it currently looks like...
This is a huge step, but I believe that it could be a great business for my family! I will definately be blogging all about what happens next...

Christian FM Cupcake Delivery!!!

My good friend Melissa works at Christian FM in Vero... so I decided to bring them some cupcakes last week!
