New Fun Colors...

We got a little fancy with some color today... just vanilla buttercream on vanilla bean and classic chocolate cupcakes! Happy Cupcake Day!!!

Sweet Saturday

Yes, I am a bad blogger... I intended to do each day with the flavors that day and you see that I got Monday in and now it's Saturday! Anyway, the special flavors today are... Red Velvet, Cookies n Cream, Pineapple Upsidedown, and German Chocolate! Of course, Vanilla Bean, and Chocolate too! I know there are still some Carrot and Lemon Meringue... but come early for those, because they will sell out fast!

I will NOT be at the store today!!! I am taking the day OFF! My lovely daughter and hubby will be running the place... Have a happy cupcake day!

We will have Peanut Butter Cupcakes with Chocolate Glaze and chopped Peanut butter chips on top...Cinnamon Swirl - a cream cheese cake with swirls of cinnamon, brown sugar, and finely chopped pecans with a cinnamon buttercream frosting....Key Lime Cupcakes with a graham cracker bottom- key lime in the middle - topped off with key lime cream cheese frosting...and as always Vanilla Bean and Chocolate!

These were so yummy.... Whipped cream cake with a tangy orange custard filling and vanilla buttercream frosting swirled with orange color for fun!

Birthday cupcakes for Abi who is 7!

Has is really only been two weeks??? I am keeping really long hours right now and it seems like two days in one... Anyway.... I made some awsome cinnamon swirl cupcakes today... it is fun to make new recipies! Everyone seemed to love them as much as me too...Yummmmm... Tonight I am trying a new one again... Orange Cream... I made a whipped cream cake and I will fill it with an orange custard and top it off with orange(color) and white swirled vanilla buttercream! Oranges are very popular here in sunny Florida!

Got another call back today... this was the second time this happened... a lady came in this morning and took a cupcake to go... Lemon Meringue... and she called me back in the afternoon to tell me it was the best cupcake she ever had!!! Wow... what a nice thing to say!!!

Classy Cupcakes One Week Anniversary!

Hey... It was a Celebration today! We gave out a free mini cupcake with every cupcake purchase for our One Week Anniversary!!! Things are going so GREAT!!! I haven't had a chance to advertise yet... we just opened the door and we are doing quite well! This location has a lot of drive by and people are just noticing the CUPCAKE sign and then the banner sign in the window NOW OPEN! Most people walk in in somewhat of a daze and see the cupcakes in the case and say... "Wow, I love Cupcakes!" It's very fun!

Classy Cupcakes Now Open!

We're open! Wow... what a week... I will be posting pictures very soon, but I wanted to let you know about my first day! The plan was to open on June 30th... but because of the food permit fee being discounted on July 1st, I decied to wait till then and we opend the door on Wednesday at 10am.

Our cupcake flavors were Chocolate, Vanilla, White Chocolate, Peanut Butter and Red Velvet... we made 10 dozen plus minis and we sold out at 3pm!

I am so thankful that my sister and her daughter were here to help with the opening... but sadly they will be leaving tomorrow morning and Emilee and I will be on our own!

Now it's time to make the cupcakes!!!

One more week...

The walls are getting painted and the laminate floors are now in... We should be ready to open in another week!!!

I feel like a celebrity... I just saw my Maxine cupcakes on my favorite blog... Cupcakes Take the Cake! I am so excited!!!

Graduation Cupcakes!!!

I had the honor of creating cupcakes for Miranda...

She had a tropical theme for the party and I made three flavors of cupcakes...

These were peanut butter cupcakes, some with chocolate and some without... decorated with a nice dollop of blue buttercream and a handmade candy decoration hibiscus flower and palm leaf!

Miranda's high school colors are green and white...so I made Green Velvet Cake with a cream cheese frosting... some decorated with crushed pecans and 2009... some with green frosting with white nonparielles... some with white frosting and green sugars! These cupcakes were so delicious!

And finally, Miranda will be going to college at IRSC who's colors are blue and gold... these are vanilla cupcakes with vanilla buttercream... decorated with yellow coloring in a blue cup... some with IRSC and some with white nonparielles!

I also had the same honor of making graduation cupcakes for Bobby!

This is Bobby with the cupcakes...

Peanut butter cupcakes all with chocolate in a gold foil cup. JC is the high school and 09 made from melted candy and decorating the top of each cupcake with a small mound of buttercream!

Bobby plans to attend UNF in the fall... Royal and White are the colors of the UNF Osprees... Banana Chocolate Chip with buttercream in a silver foil cup...

I loved that Bobby's mom had this vase with sunflowers to go in between the cupcakes... it looked so good!
